Hamilton E. Keithley

August 23, 1930 — March 5, 2014

Hamilton E. Keithley, age 83, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 5, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Bel Air, he was the son of the late Edmund Monroe Keithley and Pearl Florence Wood Keithley, and husband of the late Sonya Keithley. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He was a Living Treasure of Harford County and followed in his father's footsteps making and repairing clocks.

Mr. Keithley is survived by his daughters, D. Suzanne Breen of Shirley, MA, Deborah Elizabeth Allen of Beltsville, Mary Margaret Goodman of Bel Air and Laura Virginia Kirby of Essex; brother, Hudson Monroe Keithley of Bonita Springs, FL; sister, Martha Keithley of Parsonsburg; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.

Those who desire may make a memorial donation to VA Maryland Health Care System, Voluntary Service (135), 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Make check payable to VAMHCS and denote in the memo section for Perry Point VA Hospital.
