Gregory “Greg” Morris Crumrine, age 64, of Havre De Grace, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in Newark, Delaware.
Gregory was born in Florida to Charles Morris Crumrine, who preceded him in death, and Lola Thelma (Peyton) Crumrine, who will dearly miss her younger son.
Greg was the adored husband of Constance “Connie” (Carter) Crumrine, and they were married for 41 wonderful years. He was a devoted father, known as Poppa Bear, to Denée Crumrine (Martin Price) and Gary Crumrine (fiancée Deidre Lopez). Greg was the proud grandfather “Poppy” of Dimitri and Donovan Carapella, and Delaney Crumrine. He is survived by his brother, Charles Randy Crumrine (wife Jerri) and his sister, Tammy Lynn Bruce (husband Michael).
Greg grew up in Joppa, Maryland and attended Edgewood schools. He worked for 44 years as an auto mechanic, specializing in transmissions, throughout Harford and Baltimore Counties. His career included employment at Plaza Ford for 20 years, Ramsey Ford, Norris Ford, and most recently at Al Packer Ford. He took great pride in his work and was known for his skill and dedication. Additionally, he and Connie opened Studio 4-10 Salon & Suites in Bel Air, Maryland in 2017, running a successful small business known for its heart and taking care of its staff and clients. He was known for his sense of humor and fun in the workplace, and for being a great friend and mentor.
Greg was a good man with a heart of gold and never hesitated to help a friend or stranger in need. He enjoyed cars - racecars, racing cars, show cars, going to the track, fixing cars, talking about cars… the man loved cars. He also enjoyed boating and working on cars, especially alongside his brother-in-law, Michael Carter. He was one of the biggest fans of Gary’s band, making as many shows as he could. He would never pass up an opportunity to go out to eat with loved ones; and most of all, he loved being part of his children' s lives and seeing them grow, enjoy life, and do well in their careers and communities. Greg loved being a Poppy and his presence as husband, father, grandfather, and friend, will be deeply missed."
