Grant E. Thompson

Grant E. Thompson, 80, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on March 10, 2015 at his home. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late Millard Hawkins Thompson and Rosa Adelaide Bradford Chapman. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service and from the Bel Air Town Police Department where he worked for 25 years. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed making furniture and cabinets.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his son, Ronald A. Thompson and wife, Peggy, of Bel Air; daughter, Connie L. Glassman of Havre de Grace; brothers, Leonard D. Thompson Sr. and Charles Thompson both of Havre de Grace; sisters, Joan Scarlatto of Havre de Grace and Betty Kearney of Phoenix, AZ; and grandchildren, Clayton P. Glassman, Garrett Grant Glassman, Stephen G. Thompson, Katherine F. Rice and Jason C. Thompson.
