Gloria Paulette Pakulski, age 90, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Gloria was the beloved daughter of Wanda (Rajnicz) Williams and William Walters, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Donald Pakulski.
Gloria was a loving wife and mother who built a life centered around warmth, family, and joy. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Kim Heyman, and her son-in-law, Daniel Heyman, who will forever carry her love and memories in their hearts.
Gloria shared a deep love of dancing, especially with her late husband Donald, with whom she went dancing often. Jazz and Polka music were her favorites and filled her life with rhythm and happiness. She had a profound appreciation for nature and spent over 60 years feeding the birds at her home, a ritual that brought her daily joy.
She took great pride in her home, always making it a warm and inviting place for family and friends. Gloria especially loved decorating for the holidays and was known as a wonderful cook and baker, faithfully preparing memorable holiday dinners for her loved ones.
An avid traveler, Gloria enjoyed traveling with her husband and later continued her adventures through organized bus trips well into her late 80s. She also loved reading and was rarely without a book nearby. Gloria adored her beloved cat, Pumpkin, and had a special fondness for caring for outdoor cats as well. A gentle and loving soul, she had a deep affection for all animals and nature, enjoying gardening and planting flowers throughout her life.
Gloria had many friends and maintained a lively social life, hosting and attending numerous gatherings and parties. She will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and kindness.
