Gerald Wayne Shelton, 55, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on October 22, 2017 at the Greenbriar Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Berta Ree (Napier) Shelton of Bel Air and the late Gerald Klenzo Shelton. He was the owner and operator of American Septic & Backhoe Services and Victory Cab Company. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, golfing, shooting pool, and working on his cars. He was a member of the APA Pool League at Grumpy's Bar & Grill in Aberdeen.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife of 28 years, Hope Y. Shelton; his son, James E. Shelton of Belcamp; his daughter, Candice N. Nicewander and husband, Bobby, of Aberdeen; and grandchildren, Calleigh R. Nicewander and Carter W. Nicewander.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Justin W. Shelton and his brother, Larry S. Shelton.
