George Henry Emmel III, age 82, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, in Baltimore, MD.

George was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and was the son of the late George Henry Emmel Jr. and Ellarose Elizabeth (Hohl) Emmel.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Emmel.

George is survived by his loving children, Kimberly Williams (daughter) and George Emmel IV (son); his grandchildren, Thomas Kaiser, Kaitlyn Morgan, Kristen Williams, Kay Williams, Azalee Emmel, Angeline Emmel, and George Emmel V; and his great-grandchildren, Jordan Morgan, and Cassidy Morgan.

He was a lifetime member of the Joppa Magnolia Fire Company, having joined at the young age of 16. George loved his farm and took great pride in living a simple life. He had a deep passion for collecting toy tractors and amassed a collection of hundreds over the years. He was a simple man who truly enjoyed the simple things in life.
