Gary Wayne Siler

Gary Wayne Siler, 58, of Street, MD, passed away suddenly on April 3, 2015 at his home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he is the son of James Darrion Siler of Street and the late Phyllis Jean Walden Siler. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he began his teaching and coaching career in 1988 at Harford Technical High School. A highly decorated coach and teacher, he was an instructor in Masonry and Landscaping and coached wrestling, baseball, football, golf and softball. In October 2012, he was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame where he received the Lifetime Service to Wrestling Award. He brought many scholastic and athletic championships to the school.

In addition to his father, Mr. Siler is survived by his wife, Amy Mills Siler; daughters, Tori Morgan Siler and Kaylee Madison Siler of Street; and brothers, Ricky D. Siler of Street and James S. Siler of York, PA. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey D. Siler.
