Gary Cornette Nelson

GARY CORNETTE NELSON, age 61, of Edgewood, died at Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore, on October 17, 2002. Born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, he retired after 33 years at Broening Highway General Motors car manufacturing plant. He also worked part time for Pep-Boys in Bel Air, MD, delivering auto parts. A resident of Harford County for 23 years, he was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Edgewood, MD and the American Legion in Edgewood. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Jonas Ingram.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary M. Kamberger Nelson; three sons, William C. Nelson of Joppa, MD; Robert C. Nelson of Edgewood, MD; Mark A. Nelson of Bel Air, MD; and one grandchild, Jennifer R. Nelson of Perryville, MD.
