Gabe Kovac

GABE KOVAC, age 86, of Aberdeen, MD, died on May 4, 2008 at Lorien Riverside in Belcamp, MD. Born in New York, NY, he was the oldest of seven children of the late Charles and Anna Kovac and husband of the late Oonagh Kovac. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving during WWII in the Pacific Theater, and was a lifetime member of the Parkville VFW, Post 9083. He was active in sports in high school, including baseball and basketball.

Mr. Kovac is survived by his sister, Elizabeth LaJuenesse of Seattle, WA; and nieces and nephews.
