Frederick Patrick Mueller, Jr.

Frederick (Fred) P. Mueller, Jr., 68, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at his home in Edgewood, Maryland. Fred was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Fred P. Mueller Sr., and Lillian Lois (Stone) Mueller, formerly of Bel Air, Maryland.

Fred is survived by his loving children: Hans C. Mueller (son), Kyle D. Mueller (son), and Valerie Mummert (daughter). Fred is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Erik Oakes, and Charlotte Mummert, as well as his sisters: Deborah (Geoffrey) Cuson, Shelley (David) Fortney and his brother: Albert (Janet) Mueller, and several nieces and nephews.

Fred graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Business. He worked for over 30 years as a Senior Systems Analyst at Citi Group in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was known for his dedication and expertise. Outside of work, Fred embraced life fully and passionately. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and spending time outdoors camping, fishing and boating. A devoted movie enthusiast, The Lord of the Rings was his favorite. Fred enjoyed surrounding himself with friends, sharing stories and laughter, and could often be found working on home improvement projects around the house.

An animal lover, Fred shared his home with his dog, Ocie, and his cat, Tinkerbell, who brought him great joy. He treasured family time, especially attending York Revolution Baseball games together. Fred also enjoyed the challenge and strategy of playing chess.
