Frank Zakwieia

Frank Zakwieia, age 95, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 11, 2022 at home. Born in  

Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Michael and Monika (Ceselska) Zakwieia and husband of the late Carolyn Zakwieia. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army and Merchant Marines. Frank worked as a Sparrows Point Police Officer and was a  member of the Police Officer's Association of Baltimore County. He enjoyed spending time with his family, smoking a cigar with a friend, fishing, sitting in his rocking chair bird watching, reading, attending Mass, and Sunday dinners with his children.    

Frank is survived by his daughters, Monica Zakwieia, Mary Ellen Zakwieia and Marcee Zakwieia; grandchildren, Jason and Katie and 5 great grandchildren.
