Frank P. Kellner, Jr., age 81, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on January 31, 2023, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Frank P. Kellner and Ruth (Debelius) Evans. He spent most of his career, 32 years, as the Director of Benefits Administration for Johns Hopkins University and Hospital. Frank was an avid golfer and was a current member of Maryland Golf and Country Club and formerly the Country Club of Maryland. When his children were young, Frank was very active with Harford County Parks and Rec and John Carroll School as a coach and volunteer. Frank never stopped rooting for his children and grandchildren, going to games, meets, and matches whenever he could. When he couldn't be there in person, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren online where they were competing.
Frank is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy L. (Hax) Kellner; son, Frank P. Kellner, III; daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Berger; grandchildren, Pierce Berger, May Berger, Isabella Kellner and Gabriella Kellner; sister, Ruth L. Kellner; and brothers, Roy Kellner and Chester Evans.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Kellner.
