Francis “Frank” Vincent Vaccaro, age 81, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Born in Queens, New York, Frank was the beloved son of the late Vincent Lewis Vaccaro and the late Frances Lenore (Morrell) Vaccaro. He was also preceded in death by his devoted wife Rose Marie Isernia Vaccaro; his sister, Loretta Esposito; and his cherished parents.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Frank lived a life filled with adventure, friendship, and service to others. He was a certified Boat Captain and a joint founder of the Barnegat Bay Rod and Gun Club. He was also a member of The Antique Outboard Motor Club, the Lions Club, the American Legion, and the Italian Americans.
Frank found great joy in boating, fishing, crabbing, hunting, playing poker, and working on boat motors. He especially loved traveling with his cherished wife Rose Marie, spending time on the water and sharing stories with family and friends. He was also devoted to his beloved dog, Scruffy.
Frank was honored to have been a dear friend of Mother Teresa, who he spent time with and who fondly referred to him as, “Frankie Boy” which he was very proud of.
He is survived by his loving sister, Virginia Taksaraas; his cherished nieces and nephews, Angel, Robyn, Joseph, Cono, Anthony, Andrew, Louis, Maria, Robert, David, Rich, and Karen, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
