Francis "Frank" Anthony Sobieski

On Wednesday, December 31, 2014, Francis Frank Anthony Sobieski of Street, Maryland passed away. Son of the late Anthony Frank Sobieski and the late Margaret Minnie McElwee. Father of Barbara Anne DeRose and husband William; Michele Lynne Sobieski; Elizabeth Mae Bailey and husband Wilson; Lisa Marie Barrett-Hardy and husband Lee. Grandfather to Gregory Paul Sobieski; Claire DeRose Ring; Benjamin Kahl DeRose; Nicholas Michael Bailey; Carly Emma Barrett; Caroline Mae Bailey; Great-Grandfather to Grayson Thomas Barrett. Also survived by devoted companion- Hilda Wachter. Visitation will be Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 3-5 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday, January 5, 2015, at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church, 1021 St. Marys Road, Pylesville, Maryland 21132. Interment in adjoining church cemetery.
