Frances Matturro, aged 90, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on March 3, 2024, at Commonwealth Senior Living at Bel Air. Born in New York to the late Francis and Frieda (Falasco) Forlano, she was the beloved wife of the late Francis James Matturro.

Frances spent her formative years in Harrison, NY, before relocating to Ocala, Florida, in 1978 with her husband. An avid golfer and traveler, Frances found joy in exploring new places and perfecting her swing on the golf course. She possessed a remarkable knack for fixing things and crafting, talents she generously shared with her loved ones and friends. Frances delighted in gatherings, where she could showcase her culinary skills, particularly renowned for her Christmas cookies.

Two years ago, Frances made the move to Maryland to live near her daughter, cherishing the time spent with family in her final years.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Debra (Dan) Marino and Kathleen (Paul) Meller; her brother, Thomas (Sandy) Forlano; granddaughters, Jennifer Meller, Gloria (William) Bravante, and Deanna Marino; grandson, Lee (Ari) Meller; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Claudia McClellan, and brother, Henry Forlano.
