Frances Mary Hewitt, age 85, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. A devout Catholic, Frances found deep solace and spiritual fulfillment in her faith, regularly attending St. Margaret Catholic Church. She was more than a parishioner; she was a pillar of her community, always offering kindness and a helping hand to those around her.
Frances also served her community beyond her church, contributing to important initiatives in Baltimore County. As part of a dedicated task force, she played a vital role in developing plans to mitigate the effects of flooding, demonstrating her concern for the well-being and safety of her neighbors.
At home, Frances found joy and peace in tending to her flower garden, which was a reflection of her nurturing spirit. She took great pride in her home, where she created a warm and welcoming space for family and friends. Her love for her garden and home mirrored the care she showed to all who knew her.
In addition to her loving husband, Robert, Frances leaves behind cherished extended family and dear friends who will forever remember her kindness, grace, and gentle spirit. Her memory will continue to bloom in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by son, Gregory Hewitt, and sisters, Jeanette Mallow, and Joan Cupp.
