Frances Mae Jones Cox

Frances Mae Jones Cox, age 83, of Ivanhoe, Va passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born in Marion, Va on September 6, 1942 to the late John Jones and Lollie Adkins Jones. She was preceded in death by two sisters Marie Baker and Patsy Younce; brother Robert Jones; and two grandchildren John Burton and Kristen Cox.

Survivors are her husband Roy Lee Cox Sr., son Roy Lee Cox Jr. both of the home; two daughters Angie Goodman of Fries, VA, Lissa and Charles Ewers of Churchville, MD; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; great-grandson raised as their own Tyler Davis; sister Brenda Parks of Aberdeen, MD; several nieces and nephews; many extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services were held on January 2, 2026 at the United in Christ Church in Austinville with Reverend Chris Hall officiating. Burial to be held Monday, January 5, 2026 10 a.m. at Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, MD.
