Forest D. Byroade

Forest D. Byroade, age 78, of Aberdeen, MD, died on January 23, 2009 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Forest Harold and Mary Catherine Eckstine Byroade. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served our country during the Korean Conflict. He worked over 30 years at Bethlehem Steel in the Metalurgical Department, from which he retired. A resident of Rehobeth Beach, Delaware for 17 years, he enjoyed playing pinochle, was very meticulous, and loved dogs.

Mr. Byroade is survived by two sisters, Nancy Hyde of Abingdon, MD and Joann Mai of Forest Hill, MD; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Dennis L. Byroade, and two sisters, Elaine Maxwell and Margaret Andrews.
