Florence Ann Adams, age 84, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Born in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Bishop and Helen Moll and the beloved wife of the late David C. Adams for 38 years. Florence was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her loving son, Mark Adams, (Deanna) grandchildren, William Combs II and Ronnie (Rj) Upchurch Jr. (Jacqui), and her cherished great-granddaughter, Brynlee Wilson. Florence is also survived by her brothers, Robert Moll (Liz), and Rick Moll (Shiv), nieces, nephews. She was also survived by Sue Hughes, Janice Powers, Sally Edler and the rest of her devoted lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Teresa Adams-Hamilton and her cherished dogs Moxy and Torrie.
A woman of deep faith, Florence was Catholic and lived a life of service and compassion. Florence enjoyed taking trips to Wilbur Chocolates in Pennsylvania attending craft shows and doing crafts. She gave her time generously as a longtime volunteer from the scouts to Upper Chesapeake. She delighted in going out to lunch with her many devoted friends.
Florence will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy of love and laughter lives on in all who knew her.
