Fay Cora Patterson

FAY CORA PATTERSON, age 93, formerly of Dundalk, MD, died at Mariner Health of Bel Air on December 12, 2002. Born in East Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George Alfred and Lydia Emma Bowers Tressler, and the wife of the late Sylvester Patterson. She was an LPN and worked at Church Home and Hospital in Baltimore. A resident of Dundalk from 1935-1997, she was a former founding member of Waters Edge Baptist Church in Dundalk. She loved to cook, go to church, and take care of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by two daughters, Nora Brooks of Abingdon, MD; Dorothy (Pat) Roh of Disputanta, Virginia; six grandchildren, John Roh of New Freedom, Pennsylvania; Danny Roh of Stanford, Virginia; Douglas Roh of Disputanta, Virginia; Nora Fay Pyle of Disputanta, Virginia; Craig Patterson of Dundalk; Neal Patterson of Rogers Forge, Maryland; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son, George Patterson and by eight brothers and sisters.
