Etheleen ''Jo'' Workman

Etheleen "Jo" Workman, 90, of Abingdon, MD passed away on February 12, 2015 at her home. Born in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Laura Joplin Hicks and wife of the late William Allen Workman. She retired after 40 years from the C&O Railroad where she worked as a clerk. She was a member of Towne Baptist Church in Joppa and Job's Daughters. She enjoyed bowling.

Mrs. Workman is survived by her son-in-law, John L. Kurek of Bel Air; grandchildren, Michelle Conor, Brian Kurek and Kevin Kurek; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Sydnie, Carlie, Cody and Samantha Kurek and Corbin Connor; great-great-grandchild, Ayden Kurek; and sister, Faye Dunnfe of Proctorville, OH. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Dianne L. Kurek.
