Estherlee M. Lloyd

ESTHERLEE M. LlOYD, age 83, of Edgewood, MD, died on June 24, 2007 at Oak Crest Village, Parkville, MD. Born in Chagrin Falls, OH, she was the daughter of the late Claude M. Derby and the late Bess Appleman and wife of 55 years of the late Joel Lloyd. A Navy veteran, she served our country during WWII. An Edgewood resident for 37 years, she was a Red Cross volunteer, worked at the dispensary on Edgewood Arsenal, and ran the junior golf at Edgewood Arsenal. She also worked as a bookkeeper for three years and loved butterscotch candies.

Mrs. Lloyd is survived by a son, Joel A. Lloyd of Parkville, MD; a daughter, Kathryn Lloyd-Crowley and her husband, Colin D. Crowley, of Fallston, MD; and two grandchildren, Blaire C. Crowley of Fallston, MD and Julieann M. Lloyd of Aberdeen, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Charles H. Lloyd.
