Elizabeth ''Libby'' Gogoll Garland

December 5, 1922 — January 26, 2016

Elizabeth "Libby" Gogoll Garland, age 93, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 26, 2016 at Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air. Born in Cockeysville, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Austin Hale and Myrl Beatrice (Cofiell) Hale and wife of the late Thornton H. Gogoll and Charles W. Garland. For years, she worked as the Assistant Postmaster for the Cockeysville Post Office. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Lutherville Garden Club.

Mrs. Garland is survived by her sons, Thornton H. Gogoll (Ted) of Bel Air and John Thomas Gogoll of Dale City, VA; grandchildren, Trevor. T. Gogoll of Falls Church, VA, Tyler C. Gogoll of Easton, Troy H. Gogoll of Parkville, Elyse A. Gogoll of Charlottesville, VA, D'Arcey G. Johnson of Woodbridge, VA and Patricia E. Gogoll of Glen Burnie; and great-grandchildren, Matthew A. Johnson of Woodbridge, VA and Berkley E. Gogoll of Easton.
