Elizabeth "Lisa" Neikirk Hershman, age 59, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill. Born in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Richard Treanor Smith and Margaret Rose (Scarff) Wilson. Lisa was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Hershman.
Lisa was a 1984 graduate of Bel Air High School. While there she was a member of the Horticulture Club which nurtured her enjoyment of working with plants. She had a passion for creativity and enjoyed crafting one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry. Known for her kind and compassionate nature, she dedicated much of her life to helping and caring for others. She was a graduate of the Medix School as well as a licensed Phlebotomist and enjoyed working as a Pediatric Medical Assistant.
Lisa is survived by two loving sisters, Margaret (John) Smith Call and Barbara (Steven) Barhens Kalandros; her niece, Whitney G. DeVecchio; and her two nephews, Michael A. DeVecchio and Cameron N. Kalandros.
