Elise Ann Fousek, age 79, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Abingdon. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Elise was the beloved daughter of the late William A. Piet and Elizabeth (Kramer) Piet.
Elise was the most amazing and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Family was her entire world. She was a strong, resilient, and kind woman whose unwavering devotion to her children and grandchildren was evident in everything she did. A true Lion amongst Sheep, Elise faced life’s challenges with courage and grace. A dedicated homemaker, she later balanced full-time work and school while raising her beloved children—a testament to her incredible strength and love.
She had a deep love for the beach and was especially fond of her dogs. Her cherished companion Joey, a little Chihuahua-Terrier mix, will miss her dearly, as will her other beloved dog, Eddie.
Elise was a devoted Christian who faithfully attended New Port Richey Church of the Nazarene. All that she did, she did with the love of Jesus. Her faith guided her life, and she was known to give her entire soul to those in need. A mother’s love never dies, and Elise’s love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
