Eleesa Ann Farley, 74, of Bel Air, passed away on July 12, 2024, at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill. Born in Athens, Ohio, she was the eldest of four and daughter to Paul Harold Beasley Sr. and Doris Maxine (Buck) Beasley.
Eleesa enjoyed a life filled with simple pleasures like reading, bird watching, and gardening. She was a devoted Orioles fan and season ticket holder for the Aberdeen Iron Birds. Eleesa was quite fond of Little Debbie snacks, especially chocolate chip cookies. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a dedicated member of Grove Presbyterian Church. She volunteered at the church’s thrift shop and Martha’s Meals. A graduate of Ohio University, Eleesa served her country as an instructor and quality assurance specialist in an Army civilian role before retiring in 1982 to be a full-time mother and homemaker.
Eleesa is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, James Farley; her son, Robert Farley and his wife Leslie; her sister, Teresa Boudreaux; her brother, Paul Beasley Jr; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Michael Beasley.
The family is planning a future Celebration of Life to honor Eleesa's memory.
