Eleanor K. Holland

Eleanor K. Holland (nee’ Williams), 84, of Bel Air, MD left us to join her late husband, Don, on September 11, 2022, after a brief stay at Gilchrest Hospice. Eleanor retired as a Chief of Staff-USA CTR for Health Promotion & Preventative Medicine from Dept. of ARMY at APG after a lengthy career. She then worked for many years at BrightView Assisted Living in Bel Air as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Health Services, a job position she pioneered. Eleanor was also an esteemed photographer, traveling the country to take pictures of lighthouses, nature, and landmarks. She loved her Lord and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa for over 50 years. She enjoyed cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, playing Scrabble, Word Finds, Jigsaw puzzles and her cats.

She is survived by her devoted children Sharron L. Holland-Dodge, Jeffrey A. Ayers (Amy), and April C. Ayers (Chris Schultz, Jr.); loving grandchildren, Josh Holland, Amanda Holland, Ashley Callender (Mike), Andrew Hooper, Christina Stanley, Katherine Schultz, and Christopher Schultz. Eleanor adored her great grandbabies which were certain to make her smile, Kieran W. Callender and Taytem E. Callender. She is also survived by her devoted friend and scrabble buddy Dottie Uzarowski.
