Elaine M. Beavers, age 92, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Aberdeen, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Charles Russell Denbow and Myrtle Munnikhuysen (Amoss) Denbow.

Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Donald Beavers, Sr., with whom she shared 73 wonderful years of marriage. She was a proud graduate of the Aberdeen High School Class of 1951 and went on to enjoy a long and fulfilling career as a hair stylist at The Curling Iron in Jarrettsville for nearly 40 years. Elaine was a lifelong member of Wesleyan Chapel United Methodist Church in Aberdeen. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, traveling, and especially loved attending Broadway shows.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Balliet and Wanda Ruth.

She is survived by her loving children, Yvonne (Daniel) Peirce, Donald (Dee) Beavers, Jr., and Jeffrey (Cathy) Beavers; her cherished grandchildren, Melanie Diggs, Michele Hanson, Erica DeWitt, and Zachary Beavers; her great-grandchildren, Keeley, Kyla, Karis, Landon, Ledger, Hayes, Michael, and Rebecca; and her sister, Ann Simmons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
