Edward William Burman

Edward William Burman, age 74, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in Fallston, Maryland.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Edward was the beloved son of the late Edgar Burman and the late Gloria (Lamb) Burman.

Edward was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend who found great enjoyment in life’s many interests and simple pleasures. He loved camping and spending time with his dogs, who held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed tinkering with engines, working with computers, and had a fascination with airplanes. He also loved going to auctions and discovering interesting items and treasures.

Edward had a particular fondness for donuts, especially those from Bakery Express, which was owned by his brother. He took great pleasure in enjoying his favorite treats and sharing those simple moments with family.

In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased in death by his brother, Tommy Burman.

He is survived by his beloved spouse, Christina Burman Elfert; his brother, Charles Burman; his niece, Caitlin Burman; his nephews, Tyler Elfert and Patrick Elfert; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM at St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edward’s memory to Saving Grace Dog Rescue of Maryland, P.O. Box 92, Millersville, MD 21128, or to the Humane Society of Harford County.
