Earl Roland Kahl, a devoted husband, father, and proud Army veteran, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, at the age of 83 in Rosedale, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, MD, Earl was the beloved son of the late Jacob Joseph Kahl and Helen Catherine (Wdeziezzma) Kahl.

Earl served honorably in the United States Army, reflecting a lifelong commitment to service and helping others. He brought that same spirit of dedication into every area of his life. Known for his warm heart and hardworking nature, Earl could often be found in his garage fixing things, working on vehicles, or tackling household projects. His hands were rarely idle.

He had a deep love for the outdoors and took great joy in crabbing, fishing, and tending to his vegetable garden, especially his cherished tomato plants, which he grew with care each year.

Earl is survived by his loving wife, Joan Kahl, his devoted daughter Leslie Kahl and her husband Dave. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Helen Kahl; his son, David Kahl; and his brother, Robert Kahl.

Earl will be remembered for his generous heart, his helping hands, and his love for family, nature, and service. He will be deeply missed.
