Dorothy R. Stambaugh

Dorothy R. Stambaugh, age 96 of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on November 14, 2021 surrounded by her family at home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Margaret (Seeders) Kennedy and wife of 43 years to the late Wilbur Stambaugh. She worked as a Supervisor of Employee Benefits for Alexander & Alexander insurance company. She enjoyed spending her time reading, listening to music and playing games on her tablet. Her favorite TV show was Perry Mason. In their younger years, she and her husband had a garden and canned most of the fruits and vegetables.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Debra (Charles) Rapp and Leigh (William) Spicer; grandchildren, Karen, Steven, Jessica, Amanda, Mark, Megan and Nathan; and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Alan Stambaugh and John Stambaugh, and brother, Gilbert Kennedy, Jr and two sisters Elizabeth (Kennedy) Horn and Irma (Kennedy) Krubeck.
