Dorothy May Jones

Dorothy May Jones, age 69, of Joppa, MD, passed away on January 5, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Perry Hall, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Dennis Sanders Sr. and Grace Elizabeth Taylor Sanders, and wife of the late Carl Melton Jones. She had worked for General Motors on the assembly line, was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed animals.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons, Mike Jones and wife, Melissa, of Ellicott City and David Jones of Texas; daughter, Carla Jones of Joppa; brother, Tom Sanders of Aberdeen; sister, Kim Goode and husband, Tom, of Bel Air; and grandchildren, Casey and Amanda Jones, both of Joppa. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, William Sanders Jr. and Charles F. Sanders; and sisters, Betty Sexton and Viola Sanders.
