Doris J. Sterbak

Doris Jannette Sterbak, age 95, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Forest Hill.

Doris was the daughter of the late William Colburn Stifler and Mabel Claudia Olivia (Hess) Stifler. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Vincent Sterbak.

Doris was a loving mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. She enjoyed being in nature, her hands in the earth, cooking and canning, dancing, watching the birds in her backyard, daily colorings, her sidekick pup Sadie-girl, and being with family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Sterbak; her son, Frank Sterbak III; and her sisters, Catherine Nash and Bertha Walker; her grandchildren, Kayla Hunter, Jeffrey Hunter (husband), Cavan Hastings, Jesse McCowan, and Frank Sterbak IV; and her great grandchildren, Keagan Hastings and Finley Hastings.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
