Donna May Ward, 77, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Born in Baltimore City, Maryland, Donna was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Charles M. Wickesser and Evelyn May (Lycett) Wickesser. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Wilson Ward.

Donna dedicated many years of service as a secretary, working for the NSA, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MCI, Ward Contracting, Perryville Yacht Club, and Jarvis Appliance. She was known for her strong work ethic and friendly personality.

Above all else, Donna was deeply family-oriented and treasured the time she spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She loved boating and spending time near the water, and she and her husband enjoyed traveling together in their RV. Donna was musically talented and enjoyed playing the piano. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she took great joy in celebrating with family. An incredible cook, she was especially known for making the best cookies, a treat that family and friends will always remember.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Shelly West, and her husband Denny; her son, Brian Flynn; her grandchildren, Cassie Lane, Zach Flynn, Brendon Flynn, Blake Flynn, and Bethany Flynn; and her great-grandchild, Kayden Hassler. She is also survived by her nephews, Doug Dufour, Jr., Scott Dufour, Kevin Dufour, and Craig Wickesser.
