Donna Lowery Albrecht

Donna Lowery Albrecht, age 77, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Baltimore. Born in Cumberland, Maryland, Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Charles William Lowery and Mary Regina (Nehring) Lowery.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John Albrecht, with whom she shared many years of love, travel, and companionship. Together, they built a beautiful life and family.

Donna was a loving mother to Kimberly Thomas (Gary), Patrick Sears (Jamie Porcella), Michael Albrecht (Kathryn Gitschier), and Jeffrey Albrecht (Kelly Diven). She was a proud grandmother to Kassandra Shaw, Jordyn Sears, Presley Sears, Peyton Sears, Koen Albrecht, Amelia Albrecht, Baylor Albrecht, Ridgely Albrecht, and Beckett Albrecht. Donna also leaves behind one cherished great-grandchild, Charley Boswell.

A dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional, Donna served as a Registered Nurse for 20 years. She later went on to teach in the Nursing Program at Sollers Point Technical School in Baltimore County, where she mentored countless students before retiring in 2010.

In retirement, Donna enjoyed traveling—especially to Las Vegas—with her husband, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, which brought her great joy, and playing computer games to relax and pass the time.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at McComas Family Funeral Homes, Bel Air. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
