Donald C. Guyer

DONALD C. GUYER, age 64, of Abingdon, died at his home on October 9, 2005. Born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Carl William and June Esther Swabb Guyer. He had retired from U.S. Army after 22 years of service having served two tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict. A resident of Harford County for 30 years, he had worked at Edgewood Arsenal as security police for 24 years.

Mr. Guyer is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sherry E. Guyer; three sons, Anthony E. Guyer of Bel Air, Mark W. Guyer of Tucson, Arizona, and Keith A. Guyer of Abingdon; one daughter, Penny L. Guyer of Abingdon; two brothers, James Guyer and Thomas Guyer, both of Biloxi, Mississippi; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Donald Carl Guyer, Jr. and a daughter, Cheryl Ann Guyer.
