Dolores Constance
Bowling
Aug 16, 1939 — Jun 29, 2026
Dolores Constance Bowling, age 86, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dolores was the beloved daughter of the late William Robert Leach and the late Dorothy Amelia (Schilling) Leach. She was the devoted wife of the late Clarence Boyd Bowling, with whom she shared a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Dolores dedicated her life to her family and her Christian faith. Her greatest joy was caring for her home, raising her children, and serving the Lord. A woman of unwavering faith, she faithfully studied God's Word, spending countless hours reading her Bible and growing in her knowledge of Scripture. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, compassion, and steadfast belief, leaving an eternal impact on those who knew and loved her.
Family was always at the center of Dolores' life. She lovingly raised five children, instilling in them the values of faith, love, and devotion. Following the passing of her beloved husband, her children lovingly cared for her in return, reflecting the close-knit bond she had fostered throughout her life.
In her quieter moments, Dolores found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved listening to Elvis Presley's gospel music, was a devoted fan of The Golden Girls and Gunsmoke, and enjoyed reading, especially her Bible. Everything she loved, she embraced wholeheartedly, and her warm spirit and gentle heart will be remembered by all who knew her.
Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Boyd Bowling; her parents, William Robert Leach and Dorothy Amelia (Schilling) Leach; and her sister, Annette Gibson.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Brenda (Bob) McCann, Michael (Christie) Bowling, Mark (Deb-B) Bowling, Tracy Bowling, Tina (Mark) Singleton; and her brother Robert Leach; her sister, Betty Jones; and many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
