Diane Elana Norman

Diane Elena Norman, age 78, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Margaret P. (Boardman) Vendetti and Daniel Joseph Vendetti, and the beloved wife of the late Ray Norman.

Diane was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Woodward.

She is survived by her loving son, Thompson (Tracey) Woodward; grandchildren Mckailyn Woodward, Taylor Woodward, Candace Woodward, and Joseph Chappel Woodward; her sister, Nancy Garrett; and dear family members Barry Woodward, Albert Woodward, Matthew Woodward (Nephew), and Gillian Duncan Woodward (Niece).

Diane was a vibrant and active member of her community. She belonged to pool leagues at the Dew Drop Inn, and she found great joy in volunteering at Tabitha’s House and the local food pantry several times a week. She loved boating and cherished days spent on the Chesapeake Bay. Diane was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She truly cherished her family and valued every moment spent with them.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tabitha’s House, an organization close to Diane’s heart.
