Delvis "Del" Henderson Bearsch

Delvis "Del" Henderson Bearsch, age 81, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023, at her home surrounded by her children and loved ones. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Thomas and Virginia (Bunting) Henderson and wife of the late Robert (Bob) Bearsch, Sr. She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and Catechism.

Del grew up on Fairdale Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland with her parents and her brother, Vance. She loved floristry, spending time with her best friend, Helen, and listening to rhythm and blues music. Her job helping her father deliver groceries led her to Bearsch’s store, where she met her future husband and the love of her life, Bob.

Del and Bob had a wonderful life together, raising their family, boating, taking day trips to Pennsylvania, bird watching, and spending time with their beloved dogs, Muffin and Dukie. They were happily married for over 59 years at the time of Bob’s passing in April 2022. Del and Bob were genuinely each other’s soulmates, and they are now together again.

Del is survived by her son, Robert L. Bearsch, Jr (Tracy Bearsch); daughters, Laura V. Bearsch (DeeAnn Chamblee), Deborah A. Wilson (James Wilson), and Janene Parks (John Bachmann, IV). Del was also blessed with and dearly loved her grandchildren, Benjamin Wilson, Laura Wilson, Luke Wilson, Robert Bearsch, III, Timothy Mullins, Megan Morin, Jessica DeWeese, and Samantha Kile; and great grandchild, Adam DeWeese.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vance Henderson.
