Deborah D. Felix

June 13, 1950 — December 28, 2025

Fallston

Deborah Diane Felix passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Bel Air, Maryland, at the age of 75. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert (David) Felix; her sons, Darren and Ryan Felix; and many family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close. She was the beloved daughter of Kenneth Andrew Coulson and Merle Virginia (Sturgill) Coulson, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon (Robertson) Hale.

Born and raised in Harford County, Maryland, Debby spent her childhood riding her horses from Street to Fallston and running along the tops of fences at her grandfather’s farm.

Debby pursued her passion for education by earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University in 1973 and later a Master’s Degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She began her professional career as an elementary school teacher at William Paca Elementary School, where she made a lasting impact on her students.

Debby lived a life full of adventure. One of her greatest journeys was moving on her own to California in 1979. Within her first week there, she met her husband, David. Together, they explored the outdoors—from the beaches to the mountains—and immersed themselves in the music scene. After the births of her sons, she moved her family back to Maryland where they built a life filled with love and adventure, values they passed down to their two sons.

Her passion for exploring and helping others inspired her to start her own business as a travel agent. For over 18 years, she helped others experience the world and create their own lasting family memories.

A true artist at heart, Debby was a woman of many talents. She expressed herself through art, music, and cooking. In her early life, she passionately pursued a singing career. To sit at Debby's table was to experience her heart; she took equal joy in honoring old family recipes and mastering new cuisines.

Her warmth, passion, spirit, and love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
