David E. Workman, age 69, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026, in La Plata, Maryland.
Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, David was the son of the late Jude Workman and Myrtle Lucille (Cochran) Workman.
David was a proud Harford County native, born and raised in the community he loved. He spent his entire career as a truck driver and was well known throughout the area for his strong work ethic and dedication to his profession. In the early 1990s, he fulfilled his entrepreneurial dream by founding and operating Workman Trucking, Inc., a business he proudly built and maintained for many years.
David shared 32 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Belinda I. Workman. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and helping others.
A true car enthusiast, David loved building and restoring classic cars alongside his son. He also enjoyed riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, drag racing, and spending time outdoors. Throughout the years, he cherished the companionship of his many dogs, especially Colt and Rip, who will dearly miss him.
Above all else, David was known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand. Friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers knew they could count on him whenever they needed assistance. His kindness, reliability, and selflessness left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
David is survived by his loving wife, Belinda I. Workman; his daughters, Christine (Jason) Pipkin, Amie (Paul) Lucius, and Ashley (Brian) Brandow; his son, David Workman and his fiancée, Savannah; his grandchildren, Mckenzie Lucius, Alex (Ben) Allen, Jamie Pipkin, Sabrina York and her significant other, Darren, and Brian Brandow and his fiancée, Carissa; his great-grandchildren, Cooper Mitchum, Oaklynn Mitchum, and Blakely Brandow and his brother, Jim Workman.
