David John Baur

David John Baur, age 81, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on September 28, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of John Richard and Mildred Augusta (Milheiser) Baur and husband of the late Constance June (Basham) Baur. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He then worked for Aberdeen Proving Grounds as a Civil Engineer. Mr. Baur was a member of the Friends of Stewartstown Railroad, Inc., Historical Society of Harford County, and Ma & Pa Railroad Preservation Society.

Mr. Baur is survived by son, John D. Baur and wife, Terri, of Fallston; daughter, Heidi M. Holthaus and husband, Joe, of Parkville; grandchildren, Zachary Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Joey Holthaus, Jordan Holthaus, Kylie S. Baur; and great-grandchild, Anna E. Taylor.
