David Tom Hinckle

David “Tom” Thomas Hinckle, age 86, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on June 28, 2023, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Leoda (Norris) Hinckle and Herman Hinckle and husband of the late Shirley (Meadows) Hinckle. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. In his early years he enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing, but when he discovered golf, he sold or gave away all his rods and guns and became an avid golfer. He loved playing cards with his family and friends. He always had a story to tell, and some of them were appropriate!

Tom is survived by his son Terry L. Sexton (Wife, Jennifer), his daughters, Dorey D. Newcomb, Brenda L.  Andrews-Lucky, (Husband, Gary), and 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and companion, Ruth  Brewster.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Family Funeral Home, Bel Air, Maryland on Sunday, July 2, 2023, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm; 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the Funeral Home, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Harford Memorial Gardens.
