Darlene Secret

Darlene Secret, age 88, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Darlene was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Beatrice (Bligh) Spresser and Bernard Spresser, both of whom survive her.

She was the beloved wife of Frank Secret, who preceded her in death. Together, Darlene and Frank shared a deep commitment to faith, family, and service. Darlene was a devoted member of Gospel Tabernacle of Baltimore and Edgewood Assembly of God. She and her husband were actively involved in many church ministries, including Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and outreach to the elderly, particularly through nursing home ministries such as Hart Heritage.

Darlene was also preceded in death by her siblings: Raymond Spresser (brother), Shirley Marley (sister), and Bernard Spresser Jr. (brother).

She is survived by her loving children: Terry Secret (daughter), James Secret (son), and Frank Secret (son); her cherished grandchildren: Ryan Secret, Nick Secret, Jason Secret, Katie Secret, Brandon Secret, and Lana Secret; and her brother, Gary Spresser.

To Darlene, family was absolutely everything. Her entire world was centered around her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.

The family has chosen to lay Darlene to rest privately.
