Cynthia Ann Hanson

Cynthia Ann Hanson, 69, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in York, Pennsylvania. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late David Francis Marll and Janice Lou (Freeland) Marll.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Michelle Marll.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sara Eberle and her husband, Jake; her cherished grandson, Arthur Eberle; her brother, David Marll and her nephews Sam and Mike Marll.

Cindy knew how to light up a room. She could make you feel like you were the most special and interesting person in the world and cared deeply for her friends and family. She was a world-class crafter and those lucky enough to have received a quilt, a wreath, or Christmas décor will have beautiful mementos by which to remember her. She was an avid history buff and loved learning about and collecting Revolutionary and Civil war artifacts. She adored animals including her cat Lilly. She loved her daughter more than anything in the world, and through her and her grandson Arthur, that love will live on.
