Cynthia "Cyndee" Anne Runyon

Cynthia “Cyndee” Anne Runyon, age 77, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, in Bel Air. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Louis Ulrich and Catherine (Gifford) Ulrich and the beloved wife of the late George William Runyon Sr.

Cyndee was immensely proud of her Polish heritage and carried that pride with her throughout her life. A true Chicago sports fan, she faithfully cheered for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. When she wasn't watching a game, she could often be found enjoying a Hallmark movie.

Cyndee enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially grazing and snacking throughout the day, with tapioca pudding being a particular favorite. She treasured the cruises she took with her husband, George, and the wonderful memories they created together during their travels.

She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved birds, including her African Greys and Moluccan Cockatoo, R.C., Tootles, and Nicki-poo. Above all, Cyndee cherished her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cyndee is survived by her daughters, Bridgett (Keith) Runyon-Akers and Tanya Hudler; her sons, Damon (Kim) Runyon, Mark (Dawn) Runyon, and Michael (Karen) Parr; her grandchildren, Kevin, Ashley, Whitney, Tiffany, Olivia, Devon, Rachel, Keith Jr., Nicholas, Sabrina, Mackenzie, Ava, and Lily; and her great-grandchildren, Aryanna, Kowen, Cheyenne, Brice, Liam, Riley, Blake, Max, George, Jayceon, Zayd, Yara, and Tripp, Journey, Dallas, JoAnna.

In addition to her parents, Louis and Catherine Ulrich, Cyndee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George William Runyon Sr.; her son, George Runyon Jr.; and her brother, William Ulrich.
