Courtnie Jeanette Cowan

Courtnie Jeanette Cowan, known affectionately to her friends as Cleo, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the age of 29. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had been residing in Harford County for the past several years. She was working at Wawa in Bel Air, where she had just been promoted to manager. Courtnie was a graduate of Patapsco High School and attended Lycoming College (PA) and CCBC (Essex). She adored her cat, Pickle and enjoyed writing, watching ice hockey, Jeopardy and she LOVED TO TALK!

Courtnie is survived by her grandfather, Ted Cowan, who she called her Hero; her aunt, Kate Molinaro; her cousin, Carmen Molinaro Deckelbaum, who was like a sister to her; her brother, C. J. Cowan; sister Candi Cowan; best friend, Tori-Morgan Poteet; uncle, Chip Cowan; aunt, Amy Cowan; great aunts, Barbara Bell and Marylu Moskowitz; and many other cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Phyllis Cowan and Linda Creevy and great grandmothers, Lucille Prow and Jeanette Sikorski.
