Corey Max Botheroyd

Corey Max Botheroyd, age 58, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland.

Corey was born in Trenton, Michigan, to the late Jerry William Botheroyd and Marlene (Schmalfeld) Remakis.

He is survived by his loving mother, Marlene Remakis; his brother, Jeff Botheroyd and his wife Elizabeth; his sister, Terri Botheroyd-Reardon and her late husband Daniel; and his cherished nieces and nephew, Danielle Foust, Kelly Popp, Taylor Riggins and Zachary Botheroyd

Corey enjoyed fishing and riding in his Jeep. He was a self-taught auto mechanic and had a deep love for music, especially singing in his band. Corey was known for his generous heart—he loved helping others and never wanted to ask for help himself.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Joppa Md
