Clay Hall, age 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Little Britain, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Ernest Alexander Hall and the late Ethel Ross (Bauguess) Hall.
Mr. Hall was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. While in the service he was on the boxing team. He was the longtime owner and operator of Hall’s Furniture Store in Aberdeen, where he served his community with dedication and integrity for many years.
He was a man of many interests and found great joy telling jokes, antique cars and fishing. He loved vacationing at the beach and having a large garden. In his younger years he loved riding dirt bikes with family and friends. Mr. Hall was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where he actively participated in the Adam Group and valued the fellowship of his church family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Hall.
He is lovingly survived by his children: Thomas Hall, Timothy Hall and his wife Robin, and Tamara Hall; his brother, Clyde Hall; and his sister, Susie Brandle. When living with Tim and Robin he enjoyed all their animals, especially their little chihuahua Niña; he really loved her. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Hall’s life was marked by service, hard work, and devotion to his family and community, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
