Claude J. Smith Jr.

Claude J. Smith Jr., 83, of Perryville, MD passed away on July 6, 2015 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Claude Jennings Smith and Louise Fain Smith and husband of the late Sylvia (Johnson) Smith.
He retired after 25 years from the Acme grocery store where he had worked as a meat cutter. He was a fan of the Orioles, loved to read the newspaper and watch old movies.

Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Wayne Smith of Richmond, VA; daughters, Deena Reiber of Perryville, Sandra Toliver of Baltimore and Patricia Prather of Jarrettsville; sisters, Vera Simmons of Baltimore, Evelyn Johnson of New Freedom, PA and Linda Kerns of White Hall; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Toliver, Will Reiber, Scott Reiber and Chris Dershak.
